U.S. Geological Survey Oceanographic Time-Series Data Collection

Description: A field experiment designed to determine the near-bottom circulation in Buzzards Bay and the transport of fine-grained sediments. The transport of fine-grained sediments is important because some are contaminated with PCB's from inner New Bedford Harbor.

Duration: Jul-Aug 1982; Oct 1984-Oct 1985
